Bahrain offers a comprehensive range of facilities, catering for all types of events, from small business meetings and seminars to major international exhibitions and conferences.

The Bahrain International Exhibition Center [BIEC], one of the most advanced exhibition facilities in the region, was inaugurated in 1991. BIEC combines state-of-the-art technology with traditional architecture, providing a unique ambiance of hospitality, flexibility and professionalism.

The Exhibition Center covers a total site of 42,000 square meters, including 14.000 square meters of internal covered space, outside display areas and substantial car parking. It has a seating capacity for nearly 6,000 people and is often used for major indoor sporting events. BIEC also houses a banqueting hall, hospitality suites and meeting rooms.

The Bahrain Conference Center, located at Holiday Inn Hotel, was the country's first purpose- built conference center and the largest in the region when it was opened. It is an important venue for international and regional conventions and caters for events ranging from small meetings to large gatherings of over 1,500 delegates.

In 1997, The Gulf International Convention Center was opened in the grounds of Gulf Hotel. The main hall accommodates up to 2,500 gusts and 1,800 for formal banquet. It can also be divided into four separate areas for smaller events, each capable of holding 500 people. The Center is equipped with the finest communications technology facilities in the Gulf including the largest back projection screens in the Middle East.
